Use the WooCommerce Tax Display Plugin to control how taxes are displayed for your store products. You can show your product price inclusive or exclusive of taxes for different products, product categories, and user roles.
For me, when I initially access the shop page or a product page however, it does not display the suffix straight away. Only when I click the toggle to change the tax display it then adds the suffix. It seems like every time i start a new browser session I have to click the toggle to activate the suffix.I have tried this on multiple browsers.
[EXCLUSIVE] WooCommerce Tax Toggle
The toggle is automatically added as a floating button on the left hand side of the site, but the toggle button can also be added as a Widget in a sidebar or it can be added anywhere (including in Gutenberg blocks or your theme) with shortcode [wootax].
For a better user experience, the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout behaviour are different from other pages. On the Cart page, the tax toggle shows/hides the tax and total order in the order summary. It does not toggle the individual items as this could be confusing for the customer.
The Events Calendar cost field within the event information or in the headers of events does not display the suffix or handle prices inclusive or exclusive of taxes. However, you could do this through a customization. Check out our customizations recommendations.
WooCommerce v3.0.0 and LaterAs of WooCommerce version 3.0, the function woocommerce_price() is deprecated, as is the method get_price_including_tax(). Instead, you should use wc_get_price_including_tax:
As cale_b suggested, you need to copy from woocommerce the templates folder inside your active child theme or theme. Then rename it woocommerce. In this woocommerce templates folder you will find inside single-product subfolder the price.php template to edit related to pricing display in single product pages.
For tax-exclusive eCom stores, you can choose to apply discount codes after tax individually or in bulk. By default, discount codes are applied before tax. Applying a percentage discount code after tax means your customer will receive a greater discount. Only apply discount codes after tax after verifying your regional tax laws.
For European eCom stores, this setting is hidden unless your tax settings are set to tax exclusive which is normally only required when selling business to businesses (B2B). This can be enabled in Settings > Taxes > All prices exclude taxes. In North American eCom stores, your eCom store should be set as tax exclusive by default.

I like this, but do you know if this can or if it can be modified to toggle the comments area? I would love to be able to allow the user to hide and show the various comments rather then them all to be displayed.

Most online stores take care of tax calculations before you can complete your purchase. It is always nice to give your customers the ability to see prices before and after tax. The Including/Excluding Tax Price Toggle plugin for WooCommerce can handle it. It displays a toggle button that your visitors can use to see your prices.
You can define a fixed tax rate manually in WP Simple Pay settings, which will be globally applied to all Stripe forms on your site. This way, taxes can be collected either inclusively or exclusively with your payments. The difference is that an exclusive tax is not included in the invoice subtotal, whereas an inclusive tax is included in the subtotal.
Replace x with a field ID for the base and replace 2 with the exponent amount. For more advanced calculations, such as minimums, maximums, and square roots, see the JavaScript Math object.
